Fiber is an important component of many complex carbohydrates. It is found only in plant foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, and legumes (dried beans, peanuts, and peas). Fiber cannot be digested. Instead, it passes through the intestines, drawing water with it, and is eliminated as part of feces content. The following are specific advantages from high-fiber diets (up to 50 grams a day):

Lifestyle changes of diet and exercise are extremely important for people who have pre-diabetes, or who are at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Lifestyle interventions can be very effective in preventing or postponing the progression to diabetes. These interventions are especially important for overweight people. Even moderate weight loss can help reduce diabetes risk.
Some detox plans last a few days, other last may last a few weeks. One of the more popular detox plans is “Master Cleanse.” If you’re a fan of Beyoncé, you might recall that she did the “Master Cleanse” in order to slim down for the film Dreamgirls. “Master Cleanse” consists of drinking at least two liters each day of the following concoction: lemon juice, maple syrup (the real stuff), and cayenne pepper. Oh, and don’t forget the laxative tea and salt water flushes. The premise of this plan, as with many detox plans, is to flush out toxins, clean out your colon, and provide just enough calories (from the maple syrup) so that you don’t pass out.

Doctors often use the full term “Diabetes Mellitus” rather than “diabetes” alone, to distinguish this disorder from “Diabetes Insipidus” which is another rare disease that does not affect blood sugar levels.
Chia seeds are supposed to be one of nature’s super foods with 3100 mg of Omega-3 and 1050mg of Omega-6 and high in dietary fiber. They are recommended for diabetics. Although I am not diabetic, I use diabetic recipes for great low-carb choices. This recipe is modified from a dlife recipe. I only use Alaska wild caught salmon, and I drain it and remove the skin pieces so the numbers I’ve put in may not be totally accurate.Submitted by: SSSCOLLINS
My good man. Thanks for your insights and commentary. I loved the video and I’ve just taken your Saline wash and I’m going to purchase organic veggies for a 21 day cleanse. Did you say you’d been diagnosed with Type1 or 2? If yes, did you incur any nerve damage. I’ve not been to Dr for any diagnosis but experiencing burning feet sensation for past few weeks. Type 1 diabetes is commonly called “juvenile diabetes” because it tends to develop at a younger age, typically before a person turns 20 years old. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. The damage to the pancreatic cells leads to a reduced ability or complete inability to create insulin. Some of the common causes that trigger this autoimmune response may include a virus, genetically modified organisms, heavy metals, vaccines, or foods like wheat, cow’s milk and soy. (4)
The juices in this article definitely work. 6 months ago I was diagnosed as Pre-diabetic. Afterwards, I began juicing the fruits and vegetables captured in this article. Last week I went to have my blood glucose levels rechecked. This morning I received the results from my lab work. I”m glad to report that my blood glucose is now stable/normal. Amazing!
Finally, too often we look at cleansing as a special event. It can be, but never forget that your body is built to cleanse 24/7. This means you can adapt any of the principles we’ve been demonstrating to your own needs, desires, and circumstances. For example, if you want to include beans or rice in an otherwise nearly all vegetable and fruit cleanse, that is fine. You will cleanse, although it won’t be quite as intense as a high-nutrient liquid cleanse or a cleanse such as that discussed herein. But that doesn’t matter for most people and it does do the job, so don’t get too caught up in the hype; rather, determine your needs, your willingness, and your capacity and adapt your approach accordingly.
If you have diabetes, are overweight or obese, and are planning to have a baby, you should try to lose any excess weight before you become pregnant. Learn more about planning for pregnancy if you have diabetes.
Packaged foods or meals: Some detox plans recommend herbs, pills, powders, enemas, and other forms of colon cleansing. Methods vary and often include products that are only available from the author’s web site.
As you journey through your detox diet, you’ll likely find that simple changes such as drinking more fluids or eating more vegetables can have a profound effect on your daily wellbeing. In fact, it’s thought that the 7-day approach is an ideal way to experiment with a broad variety of new foods, recipes, and lifestyle habits. To build on that momentum, ease back into a less restrictive diet while adopting new behaviors (such as eating three servings of vegetables at lunch and dinner).
