Garlic: kills bacteria, fungi, and other harmful pathogens, and helps to increase intestinal microflora. Also, binds with cadmium, mercury, and lead and removes these metals from the body to prevent cancer. Aged garlic has shown to provide even better health benefits.
Type 2 diabetes is a dangerous disease that can lead to many other health conditions when it’s not managed properly, including kidney disease, blindness, leg and food amputations, nerve damage, and even death. (1)

As a rough rule of thumb, 1 pound of fat contains about 3,500 calories, so one could lose a pound a week by reducing daily caloric intake by about 500 calories a day. Naturally, the more severe the daily calorie restriction, the faster the weight loss. Very-low calorie diets have also been associated with better success, but extreme diets can have some serious health consequences.
Research has shown that vitamin supplements have no benefit for heart disease and diabetes. Because of the lack of scientific evidence for benefit, the American Diabetes Association does not recommend regular use of vitamin supplements, except for people who have vitamin deficiencies.
Start by trying these first three days of the plan, and then use a combination of these foods going forward. Review the list of foods that you should be eating from Step 2, and bring those healthy, diabetes-fighting foods into your diet as well. It may seem like a major change to your diet at first, but after some time you will begin to notice the positive effects these foods are having on your body.
Vegetables. Exchanges for vegetables are 1/2 cup cooked, 1 cup raw, and 1/2 cup juice. Each group contains 5 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of protein, and 2 – 3 grams of fiber. Vegetables can be fresh or frozen; canned vegetables are less desirable because they are often high in sodium. They should be steamed or cooked in a microwave without added fat.
1. Is there an alternative for the coffee enema? Also the coffee enema beans that you suggested were not available does it matter what brand I replace it with and can I purchase them already grounded?
The most agreed-upon recommendation is for the diet to be low in sugar and refined carbohydrates, while relatively high in dietary fiber, especially soluble fiber. People with diabetes are also encouraged to eat small frequent meals a day. Likewise, people with diabetes may be encouraged to reduce their intake of carbohydrates that have a high glycemic index (GI), although this is also controversial. (In cases of hypoglycemia, they are advised to have food or drink that can raise blood glucose quickly, such as a sugary sports drink, followed by a long-acting carbohydrate (such as rye bread) to prevent risk of further hypoglycemia.) Others question the usefulness of the glycemic index and recommend high-GI foods like potatoes and rice. It has been claimed that oleic acid has a slight advantage over linoleic acid in reducing plasma glucose.
Sauna: Sweating does more than cool you off. It also helps you get rid of both heavy metals and xenobiotics – foreign compounds like plastics and petrochemicals – in diabetic cleanse but significant amounts. A 2012 review of 50 studies found that sweating removes lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury, especially in people with high heavy metal toxicity.
Constantly overeating the wrong kinds of foods over the years is the main risk factor for developing type II diabetes. Overeating (or gluttony) causes insulin resistance. These people need very large amounts of insulin to maintain normal blood sugar levels.
Try not to charbroil or prepare your meat over charcoal at all, but if you do it should be no more than one or two times per month. If and when you do, always include antioxidants like rosemary, turmeric and ginger in your cooking.
When we think about arsenic, we should be thinking about it as water. Did you know that 10% of municipal water in the United States (9) has been found to be contaminated with arsenic? Many areas might not be in direct danger of contamination, but it is still a danger nonetheless.
During my research, I discovered that after some people with diabetes have started to eat properly and exercise on a consistent basis, they reach a “wall” where they are unable to lower their blood glucose level below a certain point or their blood glucose spikes for no apparent reason.
