While juice and soda taste great, they pack huge amounts of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Despite juice touting healthy aspects, it’s not as healthy for you as eating fresh fruits. In addition to dropping these two beverages, another one you should consider is coffee. The caffeine in coffee may be adding to small rises in your blood sugar levels. Take the no soda (including diet), no juice, no coffee challenge throughout November and see how you feel by the end of the month. If you have diabetes, your body cannot make or properly use insulin. This leads to high blood glucose, or blood sugar, levels. Healthy eating helps keep your blood sugar in your target range. It is a critical part of managing your diabetes, because controlling your blood sugar can prevent the complications of diabetes.
Data of one study suggests that ginger and garlic are insulinotropic (9) rather than hypoglycemic while overall anti-diabetic effects of ginger are better than those of garlic, at least in this experimental condition. Much better anti-diabetic effects of ginger and garlic may be obtained when feeding is with a normal rather than a high fat containing diet. (10)
Open the windows. According to the EPA, indoor air is “more seriously polluted than the outdoor air in even the largest and most industrialized cities.” To help exchange and circulate air inside your home, open your windows as often as you can and if you have a mechanical ventilation system, use it regularly and keep it in good working order.

Low-carb diets such as South Beach, The Zone, and Sugar Busters rely on the glycemic index. Foods on the lowest end of the index take longer to digest. Slow digestion wards off hunger pains. It also helps stabilize insulin levels. Foods high on the glycemic index include bread, white potatoes, and pasta while low-glycemic foods include whole grains, fruit, lentils, and soybeans.
High-fiber supplements, such as psyllium, guar gum, pectin (from fruit) and oat bran have improved glucose tolerance in studies. Positive results have also been reported with the consumption of powdered fenugreek seeds every day. The focus should be placed on fruits, vegetables, seeds, oats and whole-grain products.
Over the past decade, extensive research has found that if the body’s detoxification system is sluggish, toxins will accumulate, slowing down cellular energy production, increasing the number of tissue-damaging free radicals, and putting a strain on our gastrointestinal system, including the pancreas (which provides digestive enzymes to break down the food).

Alvin J thanks for this video. I’m a 64 year young women. My Biological sister shared with me that she was having pain in her right upper arm I am having that pain also. She told me that her doctor told her that it was a sign of being pre-diabetic, I also have been having some blurred vision. I have been doing coffee enemas and juicing for a few years now. I am following your advice and will let you know the outcome. I have not tried putting carrots in my Ninja, they have so much fiber. Should I use purified water or can I juice them in my juicer? Thanks again!
Broccoli is a member of the cruciferous vegetable family, which includes other veggies such as Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, and bok choy. What makes this class of veggies unique is the high levels of sulfur-containing compounds known as glucosinolates. Perhaps better known for their potential anticancer effects, these compounds may also have a role in reducing heart disease risk and heart-related deaths. In a study reported in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2011, researchers found that cruciferous vegetable consumption was associated with a reduced risk of death from heart disease. Their recommendation: “Increase consumption of vegetables, particularly cruciferous vegetables and fruit, to promote cardiovascular healthy and overall longevity.”
“A diet with sugar and high glycemic index foods promotes all the leading causes of death in America,” says Dr. Fuhrmansays. “I don’t see value in cutting out sugar for a few days and then going back to eating it, but I do see value in cutting it out permanently.”
1. Yes. You can use the Gaia Supreme Cleanse instead of a coffee enema. It cleanses the liver, colon, and tissues in a strong 12-day cleanse! According to the 2017 National Diabetes Statistics Report, over 30 million people living in the United States have diabetes. That’s almost 10 percent of the U.S. population. And diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death in the United States, causing, at least in part, over 250,000 deaths in 2015. That’s why it’s so important to take steps to reverse diabetes and the diabetes epidemic in America.
Supplementing with psyllium has been shown to be a safe and well-tolerated way to improve control of blood glucose and cholesterol. In a double-blind trial, men with type 2 diabetes who took 5.1 grams of psyllium per day for eight weeks lowered their blood glucose levels by 11 to 19.2%, their total cholesterol by 8.9%, and their LDL (bad) cholesterol by 13%, compared with a placebo. Some people with diabetes need to eat at about the same time each day. Others can be more flexible with the timing of their meals. Depending on your diabetes medicines or type of insulin, you may need to eat the same amount of carbohydrates at the same time each day. If you take “mealtime” insulin, your eating schedule can be more flexible.
