Thanks Alvin for the information. I am new to this; when you say that I need to supplement, do you mean to take some pills or drops that has some vitamins and minerals? In my case, what do I need to take, and how much?
There may just be something to that old line, “Beans, beans, the magical fruit.” Of course, you probably know that beans are high in fiber and a good source of protein, but now there are even more reasons to include them in a diabetic diet. In a 2012 study, researchers found that eating about a cup of legumes daily resulted in better blood sugar control (for both blood glucose and A1C) and lower blood pressure.
Those of us with type two diabetes are like the canaries in the mines, they fall first, and hardest from eating the food that is on every street corner, in all our supermarkets and regrettably sold in our schools.
The reason foods like wheat and cow’s milk have been linked to diabetes is because they contain the proteins gluten and A1 casein. These proteins can cause leaky gut, which in turn causes systemic inflammation throughout the body and over time can lead to autoimmune disease.

After prayer it came to me that my body was in such a weakened condition that I needed for a period of time to live on a liquid diet and that is what I am doing and it is working for me. It has not been easy…and every once in a while I will eat some cheese (organic).

Body fat has often been regarded as a large risk factor for diabetes, even independent of body weight. New evidence is even showing that fat itself is less of a danger, rather the toxins that are commonly stored within fat are what is causing damage to our bodies.
Patients who choose this approach must still be aware of protein and fat content in foods. These food groups may add excessive calories and saturated fats. Patients must still follow basic healthy dietary principles.
Traditional herbal remedies for diabetes include bitter melon, cinnamon, fenugreek, and Gymnema sylvestre. Few well-designed studies have examined these herbs’ effects on blood sugar, and there is not enough evidence to recommend them for prevention or treatment of diabetes.
Aerobic exercise has significant and particular benefits for people with diabetes. Regular aerobic exercise, even of moderate intensity (such as brisk walking), improves insulin sensitivity. People with diabetes are at particular risk for heart disease, so the heart-protective effects of aerobic exercise are especially important.

Meat and Poultry. Lean cuts of meat are the best choice for heart health and diabetes control. Saturated fat in meat is the primary danger to the heart. The fat content of meat varies depending on the type and cut. For patients with diabetes, skinless chicken or turkey is a better choice than red meat. (Fish is an even better choice.)
Coffee. Many studies have noted an association between coffee consumption (both caffeinated and decaffeinated) and reduced risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Researchers are still not certain if coffee protects against diabetes.

The human body puts up with a lot, and typically lets us know when something’s up. A cough and a runny nose can be a warning that a cold is coming. A rash shows that you have an allergy. Sometimes some disorders sneak up on us without warning.
Lemon Juice is a good source of flavonoids which are known for their antioxidant properties. Vitamin C is the most abundant antioxidant in lemon. Since it contains antioxidants, lemon juice helps fight free radicals in the body, thus strengthening our immune system. The antioxidant properties of lemons are supported in this study which showed that the lemon flavonoids suppressed oxidative stress in diabetic rats.

A study published in 2012 in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that consuming cheese or yogurt might help prevent type 2 diabetes. In studying the diets of thousands diabetes detox adults with and without diabetes, investigators found those who ate at least 55 grams (about 2 ounces) of yogurt a day were 12 percent less likely to develop type 2. The researchers theorized that probiotic bacteria in yogurt lowers cholesterol and produces certain vitamins that prevent diabetes. They thought the vitamin D, calcium, and magnesium found in yogurt could play a role, too.
